INVERSE PRESENTS ITS COLLECTION AND CUSTOMISABLE WINDFLAP® REUSABLE PROTECTION MASK
Under the new WindFlap® brand, Inverse has developed a range of reusable and washable protection masks with filter. Inverse has collection masks and offers the option to customize them to companies or groups. Also made with a special size for children.
After a few hectic weeks helping to manufacture protection gowns and masks to fight Coronavirus, Inverse’s R+D+I department has developed its own range of protective masks with the aim of responding to the protection recommendations.
PROTECTION MASK WITH DOUBLE EFFECTIVENESS
Inverse’s WINDFLAP® protective mask has been designed to respond to the great social demand for protection masks with the double effectiveness of protecting yourself and others. It is a reusable and washable protection face mask, guaranteeing it is sustainable and economic.
MAXIMUM COMFORT AND SELF-ADJUSTING
Comfort has been another of the points that has been taken into account in the design of the new Inverse’s WindFlap® protective mask. It has an ergonomic design thanks to its innovative pattern. The fabric of the inner layer is pleasant to the touch. And it is self-adjusting, thanks to its double-sided elastic trim that provides maximum comfort and prevents the mask from accidentally falling off.
EXCLUSIVE CHILDREN’S SIZES
WindFlap also has three children’s protective face mask sizes (3-5 years old, 6-9 years old and 10-12 years old) with sizing and ergonomic design suitable for the protection of children, and a custom design can be made for schools, clubs and children’s organisations.
3 REAL LAYERS, 3 DIFFERENT FABRICS
With more than 50 years of history manufacturing sportswear for cycling, triathlons, running, trail running, swimming and skiing, Inverse has a long experience and technical knowledge of the right fabrics. The WindFlap protective mask has 3 real layers of protection, made with three different fabrics to perform three different tasks:
- Outer layer. A water-repellent fabric weighing 220 g which repels liquids. Manufactured with 80% Polyester and 20% Elastane and with ISO 1883 (composition), ISO 9237 (permeability) and ISO 4920 (spray) certificates. This outer layer can be customised by sublimation using ecological inks.
- Removable Middle Layer. FLAPTECH filter weighing 126 g which acts as a water-resistant filter and acts as a barrier for viruses and bacteria. Manufactured with 80% polyester and 20% polyamide. Washable and reusable. Certificate: UNE 0065: 2020. Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE%) 94.16 +/- 2.45. Breathability: Differential pressure (Pa / cm2) 19 +/- 1. Replacement filters are also on sale.
- Inner layer. Antibacterial fabric weighing 80 g which is soft and pleasant to the touch. Manufactured with 82% Polyamide and 18% Elastane and with ISO 1883 (composition), ISO 9237 (permeability) and ISO 4920 (spray) certificates
Please note that this is a protective product, and under no circumstances can be used as PPE (personal protective equipment) or as a healthcare product.
All the fabrics used are manufactured in the EEC (European Economic Community)
WASHABLE AND REUSABLE
Unlike many masks on the market, the WindFlap protective mask® is washable, which means it can be reused again and again. Simply follow these washing tips so it can be reused with all the safeguards for your health:
- The maximum washing temperature is 60º.
- Do not use bleach when washing.
- Do not iron or use any steam treatment.
- It can be dry cleaned using normal products.
- And you can use your dryer.
Avoid contact between a dirty mask (to be washed) and clean clothing. The person doing the washing must protect itself when handling dirty masks.
The middle filter layer should be changed every 24 hours for hygiene reasons. Replacement filters are also sold separately.

Inverse also offers a customisation service for the WindFlap® protective mask with any colour, texture, illustration, logo, etc… We can adapt an existing design or we can create a new design proposal that suits the client’s needs. Our protective mask customisation service is ideal for brands, companies, organisations, clubs and all kinds of groups, including schools and colleges, as we also offer children’s sizes. This service is also ideal for public events wishing to provide protection items with the graphic image of the event.
For the customisation, we use the heat stamping technique with ecological inks that ensures totally accuracy in the colour and corporate design. Inverse was one of the first European brands to manufacture custom sportswear using this innovative technique instead of traditional screen printing.
